| The 2008 American Bladesmith Society's all forged blade EXPO is the premier
show for handforged blades. From utility blades, to the finest forged and
crafted art knives, the ABS EXPO has something for everyone. This year, several innovative changes have been implemented to enhance the forged blade experience for both collectors and makers. This will be a two day show with Friday devoted to seminars and demonstrations for makers, collectors and forged blade aficionados. Collectors will also have the unique opportunity to participate in the Collector's Corner where they can bring up to 3 hand forged knives by ABS makers to show, buy, sell, or trade. This will also be a wonderful opportunity for collectors and makers to get together to visit and enjoy the fellowship which is a major part of enjoying the forged blade and the people who preserve and advance this important craft and art form. A Friday afternoon preview of the knives will be followed by our annual banquet and auction. Saturday will offer another brief preview opportunity, followed by the opening of the EXPO in which you may purchase your favorite knives from ABS smiths who forge hot steel into some of the finest blades ever offered.
